Community Sound Bath with Rose

Community Sound Bath with Rose

Join Rose Berlinger for an inclusive community sound meditation - a welcoming, gentle evening designed for rest, connection, and collective calm.

What to expect:

We’ll begin with simple, guided breathing and grounding exercises to settle the body and mind.

You’ll then be invited to sit or lie down on a mat while Rose plays crystal singing bowls, gongs, and chimes, allowing their vibrations to support deep relaxation and presence.

The session is practiced in a supportive group setting where everyone’s experience is honored. There’s no right or wrong way to receive the sounds.

Who this is for:

Everyone is welcome - no prior meditation or sound experience required.

This space is intentionally accessible and inclusive - people of all backgrounds, identities, bodies, and abilities are invited to join. If you have mobility needs or sensory sensitivities, please let us know so we can help you feel comfortable.

Contraindications: Not recommended for women in the first trimester of pregnancy

What to bring:

Wear comfortable clothing. A mat, pillows, blankets, and eye mask will be provided to help you get cozy, but feel free to bring your own props!

If you prefer to sit rather than lie down, we have seating options - adapt the practice to what feels safe and nourishing.

Why join:

A gentle opportunity to pause from daily life, reconnect with yourself, and share a restorative experience with others in our Beacon community.

Regular sound meditation can support stress reduction, better sleep, and improved mental clarity - and doing it together deepens a sense of belonging and mutual care.

Come as you are, settle in, and share in a peaceful, community-centered sound meditation with Rose. This event is donation based. All proceeds support our sliding scale and free offerings. Donations can be added at registration.

Adaptive Chair Yoga

Monthly Adaptive Chair Yoga with Jacquie Brown: Movement, Breath, & Stillness

This class is built around a simple truth: If you can breathe, you can practice yoga. Designed specifically for anyone navigating limited mobility, chronic pain, or recovering from an injury, this chair-based practice offers all the benefits of traditional yoga without ever needing to get down on the floor. It is also an excellent option for anyone who spends long hours sitting and needs a practice they can do at their desk.

This monthly offering will be on Friday 9/11 at 5pm, Saturday 10/17 at 11am, and Saturday 11/14 at 11am

Want to see more of this in our community? Attend, bring a friend, and help us share the message that YOGA IS FOR EVERY BODY!
Whether you use a wheelchair, rely on an assistive device, spend your workday at a desk, or simply prefer the stable support of a chair, you are welcome here. No prior yoga experience is ever needed. Just bring yourself.

Our emphasis is on meeting your body exactly where it is today without expectation or judgement. We don't just focus on the physical aspects in this class. We treat the breathwork and meditation as just as important as the movement, moving far beyond just physical stretching to integrate the more subtle layers of yoga.

Every single movement and practice is choice-based. You are always in total control of your own experience, and variations will be offered throughout to ensure you feel supported and empowered.

Here is what we will explore together:

  • Accessible Movement: Gentle, intentional seated postures designed to support joint health, build functional strength, and improve your daily mobility.

  • Breath Support: Mindful breathing techniques to help soothe the nervous system, reduce stress, and shift the body into a state of ease.

  • Mindfulness & Meditation: Guided quiet time to ground the mind, build mental resilience, and cultivate a closer, kinder relationship with your body.

  • Bring a Friend or Family Member: Yoga is better in community. If you have a parent, neighbor, or loved one who might not feel welcome or comfortable in a traditional, fast-paced yoga studio, please bring them along. To make it easier to practice together, we offer a special "bring-a-loved-one" discount. Purchase a friend/family class pack here.

  • Time to Connect: The yoga practice itself is one hour, but we invite you to stick around for an extra 15 minutes afterward. We'll have some tea, unwind, and use the time to just connect, chat, or talk through any questions you might have (super informal, just a time to connect).

  • Financial accessibility - if attending yoga is cost prohibitive for you simply email us for a scholarship.

  • DayDream Collaborative Clinic - NEW LOCATION (map)
  • Google Calendar ICS

Whether you choose to facilitate guided meditation or use the skills to lead a ‘moment of calm’ before a meeting, this training will support you in supporting others. (Yoga Nidra Immersion is a prerequisite for this training)

Level 1 is a two day training designed to give you a foundation in leading Yoga Nidra guided meditation. This course is created to support those of us doing care work and organizing through difficult times. It is an opportunity for activists, teachers, yoga instructors, bodyworkers, healthcare providers, and anyone that is organizing, leading and providing care for others while simultaneously caring for themselves.

Over our weekend together, and then continuing the practice with recorded Nidra and journaling prompts, participants will walk away with distinct skills for working with others in group settings:

  • Day One:

    • Yoga philosophy for revolutionary practice

    • Critical review of ableism, anti-fat bias, and the impact of language

    • Nervous System overview & applications of meditation

    • Accessible yoga for third spaces and off the mat

    • Preparing ourselves to lead and facilitate group practice

    • Setting the space: creating inclusive spaces for traumatizing times

  • Day Two:

    • Basics of a Yoga Nidra script

    • Scope of practice - leading with integrity

    • Yoga Nidra and harm reduction

    • Teaching special populations

    • Adaptions & Adjustments - creating flexible containers of care

    • Nidra benefits: yoga philosophy meets neuroscience

  • At Home follow up (you have 90 days to complete and submit the assignments)

  • Opportunity to use DayDream as practice space and build community

  • Final project review and feedback on your recorded Nidra practice.

No prior yoga experience is required aside from our Yoga Nidra Immersion. All of the skills can be adapted depending on what is needed and within your scope of practice.

Time commitment is 2 weekend days (November 7 + 8, 11-5) and then 3 hours of at home practice. Once you have submitted your final project you will be invited to Level 2 of the training (scheduled for Sunday 11/15). The Yoga Nidra Immersion (either 4 week or is a prerequisite for this training. If you have teaching or nidra experience message us.)

Cost is $325 for the program and includes our scheduled time together, feedback & mentorship, and a printed manual. Scholarship spots are available. Small Group Class: Restorative Yoga Nidra

Restorative Yoga Nidra with Lynn Reublinger

Tuesday evenings 7:30-8:30 after our community clinic

Experience the art of undoing: we invite you to slow down, soften and effortlessly sink into stillness

We will start out with gentle stretches to release tension followed by a deeply restorative guided meditation. As you withdraw from the senses and the external world, you will be guided into deep relaxation to explore your inner landscape and reconnect with your true self.

Sometimes called 'yogic sleep', Nidra is practiced while lying down and listening to guided visualization. Experience profound shifts in mental clarity and creativity as we create new neural pathways. No movement required, just get cozy and enjoy the ride as you float into deep rest and nervous system reset.

Restorative Yoga Nidra with Masha Schmidt

No movement required, just get cozy and enjoy the ride as you float into deep rest and nervous system reset.

to May 3

Yoga Nidra Facilitator Training Level 1

  • DayDream Collaborative Clinic - NEW LOCATION (map)
  • Google Calendar ICS

Yoga Nidra for Changemakers Facilitator Training Level 1 is a two day, 20 hour training designed to give you a foundation in leading Yoga Nidra guided meditation.

  • At Home follow up (you have 60 days to complete and submit the assignments)

  • Opportunity to use DayDream as practice space and build community

  • Final project review and feedback on your recorded Nidra practice.

No prior yoga experience is required aside from our Yoga Nidra Immersion. All of the skills can be adapted depending on what is needed and within your scope of practice.

Time commitment is 2 weekend days (May 2nd & 3rd 10-5) and then 3 hours of at home practice. Small Group Class: Gentle Yoga & Meditation

Gentle Yoga & Meditation with Sarah Capua

Thursday mornings 10-11

Join Yoga Therapist Sarah Capua for a focused and profound practice that will meet you right where you are.

This offering is for practitioners who are seeking a mindful approach to yoga, and are interested in how its practices can support body and mind. Each class will lead from movement to seated meditation, as well as time for reflection and connection with the community. Our physical practice will be focused on the function of the asanas, making the form of the postures easily adaptable to each student. Students will develop a deep relationship with the breath, which serves as the anchor for our movement and creates a gateway to the deeper contemplative benefits of our practice.

This class is for all bodies and levels of movement practice. If you are unsure if this class is appropriate for you - please email or text us!

We have mats and props, but feel free to bring your own yoga mat. Wear relaxed clothing that allows for easeful movement. No prior experience necessary.  Small group movement classes are $30 and limited to 6 participants so that instructors are able to attend to your comfort and safely provide individualized attention.

Space is limited and so we recommend pre-registering. If you would like to sign up but class is full, email or text us.

Small Group Class: Restorative Yoga Nidra

Restorative Yoga Nidra with Masha Schmidt and Lynn Reublinger

Thursday evenings 6:30-7:30

Regular attendance builds steadiness of practice. Masha and Lynn alternate weeks - check our instagram for details week by week.

This class is for all bodies and levels of movement practice.

We have mats and props, but feel free to bring your own yoga mat. Wear relaxed clothing that you can rest in. No prior experience necessary. Small group meditation classes are $25 and limited to 8 participants.

Space is limited and so we recommend pre-registering. If you would like to sign up but class is full, email or text us.
