Small group somatic myofascial release with Meagan Kobielski

Bi-monthly Monday evenings 6:30-7:30

(or 7:45 if you’d like a little more time for integration)

What is fascia? Your body is connected by a web of fascia — a network of connective tissue that wraps around and links every muscle, bone, and organ. When one area becomes tight or restricted, it can influence movement and function throughout the body. This influences how we feel physically, mentally, and emotionally.

What is small group somatic myofascial release? In this class, we’ll explore gentle, fascia-focused movements that can help restore mobility, improve alignment, and create more ease in how you move. Each class, we’ll target a different area of the body. Every movement is optional, so you can follow along in a way that feels comfortable for you. We’ll close with a calming 10-minute meditation to help your body and mind integrate the benefits of the practice. This practice is based on the methodology of the Institute of Applied Somatics.

This class is designed for participants who can comfortably transition between lying on the floor and standing. If you have adaptive needs or require alternative movement options, please email us in advance so we can arrange a call to discuss accommodations.

We have mats and props, but feel free to bring your own yoga mat and a small hand towel. Wear relaxed clothing that allows for easeful movement. No prior experience necessary.  Small group classes are $30 and limited to 6 participants so that instructors are able to attend to your comfort and safely provide individualized attention.

Space is limited and so we recommend pre-registering. If you would like to sign up but class is full, email or text us.
