Madeleine Hamer

she/her

(Doctor of Nursing Practice—Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Columbia University, expected August 2026)

Maddie is a registered nurse, yoga teacher, and certified sound therapist dedicated to integrative mental health and nervous system care. Drawing on Five Element theory, holistic nursing practice, and her current doctoral studies in psychiatric nursing, she creates experiences that invite deep calm and reconnection.

At Daydream, Maddie offers community and one-on-one sessions that combine therapeutic sound, conversation, and mindful presence to help clients regulate stress and rediscover their innate resilience. Her practice is informed by years of hospital nursing in postpartum and medical–surgical care, as well as advanced training as an Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist and Integrative Nutrition Health Coach.

Maddie’s passions include group facilitation, eco-therapy, and weaving music, performance, and nature into healing spaces. When not studying or working with clients, she tends her flower and vegetable gardens in Croton-on-Hudson and leads small group sound and sharing sessions in a Yurt through her practice, Nursing True Connection.
